The inaugural inter-house swimming gala took place at the KCI swimming pool on Thursday 2nd November 2017. Students from Years 1 to 9 representing the College Houses – Windsor, Pendragon, Sherborne and Pembroke – all participated in a truly memorable occasion.
Each house group had prepared their individual banners and the cheering students raised the roof throughout the event as they cheered their own team with great excitement and encouragement. True sportsmanship was on display as well as individual examples of some excellent swimming. The Primary Head – Claire Whyte – together with the Head of PE, Mr Ramesh Kumar worked closely with Ms Christie Canavan to put together a spending gala. The colourful spectacle and the all-round feeling of togetherness within the College was evident throughout. Kings India really showed it is a warm-hearted school where all are expected to participate and be the very best that they can be.
Well done to all of our students and sincere thanks to all the College staff who were associated in the planning and participation in the production of the event.
