Sunday 18th March saw King’s College India, the first British International School in India, play host to The Great British Fair; a non-stop spectacular presentation of family activities. These included Mini Model Bikes, Paint Balling, Hot-Air Balloon Rides, an adventure/obstacle course, Zorb racing and a Super Bike course. The Fair was officially opened by Mr David Boddy Principal Partner of Anglo Schools International Services Ltd (ASIS) and by Father Mark Smith, Chaplain of King’s College Taunton, UK – the sister school of King’s College India.
The day’s activities were extremely popular and ques soon built up from as early as 8.00AM – with the Hot Air Balloon proving to be incredibly popular. The parents and their children were also able to take part in a wide range of other activities – including, mini-cricket, IT Quest for Games, basketball and football. There was a very wide range of delicious snacks and tempting treats available to satisfy every taste. Especially popular was the English Tea Tent, specialising in a pot of British Tea with a mouth-watering English scone covered with strawberry jam and cream. Delicious!
The tremendous effort made by the King’s Marketing team ensured that the day was a tremendous success. The large crowds of students and parents who came all agreed that it was a magical event – one that will now be on KCI’s annual calendar from now on. Congratulations to all of the people involved in ensuring the Fair was such a success.
